On the Mountain
Lift Passes
We are currently working with Cardrona to create the most streamlined process possible, Check back here for more information on the lift pass process.
In 2025 Halberg will be covering the cost of lift passes and rentals for participants that are under 21.
Equipment
Helmets are mandatory throughout the festival and are available for hire on the mountain if needed.
Skis, snowboards, boots, helmets and outerwear (pants/ jacket) are available to hire on the mountain. We recommend contacting Cardrona to book in advance.
SSNZ will provide adaptive equipment such as mono-ski, bi-ski, outriggers, ski links and high vis vests. We may be able to provide a couple of communications systems however, we suggest contacting us to check availability well in advance of the festival.
Due to demand, we may need to rotate some of the equipment throughout the day. We will do our best to ensure everyone has the equipment they need though.
Lessons
We will do our best to accommodate first timers/ beginners with 1x free (1 hour) private lesson.

Food and Drink
We recommend bringing snacks and water to keep energised and hydrated throughout the day.
Meals are also available for purchase at the Base Cafe.
